Tia Dalma is a voodoo woman played by Naomie Harris and has appearences in Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean:At World's End.She gave Jack his voodoo compass,which directs you to what you want most.

Jack gave her Barbossa's undead monkey Jack as payment for directions to the Flying Dutchman.She is secretly the ocean goddess,Calypso,who is lovers turned rivals with Davy Jones.He visits Tia and she turns Jones back to his human form for a minute and then he pulls her away.
